Sweet Bastard

That Sweet Bastard was nothing but cute, his rotten teeth was black and when he smiled he had the look of a tiny pirate. He was in his baby stroller and he was facing me when we were in the bus.

I fell in love with the little one instantly, he made sure he had all my attention flashing his rotten smile.

Oh boy! Why are toddlers this cute! I think he likes me too, I saw him pulling down his hoodie creating a window between our smiles. And the very next moment he pulled up his hoodie and smiled like the pirate. This went on for few minutes.

Well I was loving the attention too, I started playing the same hide and seek game with him. I saw him pointing his finger at me and talking to his mommy. I couldn't hear him out since I had my ear phones plugged in. I thought not to bother, since my little pirate came back for the game again and started his round two of the rotten cheesy smiles.

I saw him pointing his finger at me and I saw him talking to his mommy again. I wanted to know what this little one was up to, I unplugged the ear phones and I heard him loud, " MOMMY THAT GIRL IS TRYING TO KIDNAP ME!!!"

Are you two together?

This is the most obvious question when a girl and a guy hangs out. But things got interesting when I went out with two of my guy friends. This happened back in 2016. We were at a restaurant at Niagara falls. There was this enthusiastic photographer going to every table taking complimentary pictures. He finally came to our table and offered to take a picture. We agreed. The three of us sat together. I was in the middle. Looking at me and the buddy to my left, the photographer asked, "Are you two together?" To this, 'the left side buddy' said, "Nooooooo!" The somebody's voice

I am not a churchgoer and to be certifiably true to myself, it has been more than six months since I last attended a mass. Crowd intimidates me . I am the kind of person who goes to church as a loner. I like sitting there quietly to ruminate, to thank,  to implore, to pray and maybe just stay still in the tranquility. When my mother dragged me to church the other day, I was prepared to stay quiet. The liturgy began, followed by gospel reading and it was time for pastor to speak. I was listening diligently.
